ESP publishes this page as a technical orientation for ALSE managers and program teams evaluating a higher-capability CA-EBS architecture. For most Survival Egress Air needs, ESP’s primary lead / workhorse remains SEA 3000 LV2. Final configuration selection and any agency or airworthiness approvals remain with the responsible program office. OEM product availability is not the same as agency configuration approval.

SEA LW (232 BAR aluminium; public BS EN 4856:2018) remains an available current OEM SEA config; it is secondary to SEA 3000 LV2 as ESP’s lead.

MEER is not PHODS
MEER delivers emergency compressed air for egress. PHODS delivers supplemental oxygen for altitude operations. Linking the wrong system class to a mission profile is a safety and program error.
Lifecycle support — inspection, overhaul, cylinder requalification
Fielding MEER (or SEA) is only the start of program readiness. ESP supports lifecycle sustainment for Survival Egress Air / CA-EBS assets within approved service scope:
