Aqualung Military & Professional markets SEA (Survival Egress Air) for that role—not as scuba, not as altitude oxygen, and not as a medical oxygen device.

Aviation / underwater egress mission
SEA is an emergency air source designed to assist in an underwater egress emergency. Per Aqualung Military & Professional public product information, the system uses a remote mouthpiece intended to support hands-free operation and unrestricted head movement, and is described as suitable for aviators, crew, and passengers who fly over water—and for other applications that require an emergency breathing device.

SEA 3000 LV2 — primary lead / workhorse
SEA 3000 LV2 is ESP’s primary lead Survival Egress Air product—the workhorse recommendation and default starting point for most Survival Egress Air conversations. For most Survival Egress Air / compressed-air egress needs, start with SEA 3000 LV2. When the mission profile calls for a higher-capability / next-generation CA-EBS architecture—lighter form factor, 300 BAR (4500 psi) COPV cylinder, and the OEM’s most compact CA-EBS framing—see Aqualung MEER LW.
Think of the relationship as performance and capability tiers within the same mission class (workhorse lead vs fully-specced higher-capability option)—not a cost or lifecycle-cost comparison.

Historical cataloging vs current OEM support vs agency approval
Keep these three layers separate in every customer conversation:
- Historical cataloging — older part numbers, superseded manuals, or retired marketing names that may appear in fleet inventories or legacy RFPs. Catalog history alone does not prove current production or approval.
- Current OEM support — configurations Aqualung Military & Professional presently lists and supports (including SEA 3000 LV2 as a live product). Current OEM listing ≠ automatic U.S. agency approval.
- Agency / airworthiness approval — configuration control, TSO, NSN authorization, or service-specific airworthiness acceptance. This page does not assert agency approvals or TSO claims.
