Aviation oxygen

PHODS M2 — Portable Helicopter Oxygen Delivery System

PHODS is a man-mounted supplemental oxygen system for rotorcraft aircrew operating at altitudes where supplemental oxygen is required. It is a separate system class from SEA / MEER / CA-EBS (emergency egress compressed air). Do not specify PHODS for underwater egress, or SEA/MEER for high-altitude oxygen — many programs need both.

Per Aqualung Military & Professional public product information, PHODS M2 can attach to a crew member’s survival vest and helmet, and is designed to supply supplementary oxygen for missions above approximately 8,000 ft / 2,400 m. A Mission Kit option provides additional oxygen cylinders for in-mission cylinder change.
